James and Jeff fly to Aspen to join friends of John Denver for two shows
celebrating John's memory and his music and benefit his charity The WINDSTAR Foundation.


James meets Jim Curry and Steve Weisberg at rehearsal.

James hears the story of how Steve Weisberg avoided hitting a dog while
he was cycling and almost missed playing at the show with the injuries incurred.



Dick Kniss joins the troupe as he is between tours with Peter Paul and Mary.

James catches up with John Stewart, former Kingston Trio member and the writer of
'Day Dream Believer' for the Monkees, and 'Runaway Train' for Rosanne Cash.
He also scored big with his own hit GOLD with Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham.
With 40 albums under his belt he joins James to salute John Denver.

With Aspen airport snowed in James and his crew head for Arizona and Phoenix airport.
Stopping in Moab for lunch are James, John Rowlands, Mike Reeves and Sam Oliphant.


James and Jeff spend the night at the Rowlands' Hacienda in Cornville, AZ
and fly safely home via Phoenix the next day.
