Through the generosity of James Burton and a dedicated volunteer Event Committee, the James Burton Foundation raises funds to provide music programming in schools and free guitars to young musicians. Proceeds from the 2005 James Burton International Guitar Festival were used to fund a new music curriculum in Shreveport, Louisiana and purchase guitars for 600 children. With your help, the program can be expanded throughout the country.

The James Burton Foundation partners with other non-profit organizations to provide technical training and financial assistance to children and young adults. It has been James' dream to give back to the music community by helping young musicians realize their potential. Your donation makes it possible for young guitarists to have their own chance to become legends in their own right!
